The Director of CAMI (Philippe Cinquin from 2012 to the end of 2015, Jocelyne Troccaz from 2016 to 2022, and Sandrine Voros since 2023) was assisted by a Management Board comprising representatives of the six teams and by an administrative assistant from a subsidiary company (Absiskey). The Board took all decisions concerning the supported actions and their funding. It also discussed the general strategy of CAMI at the local, national, and international levels. In addition, it coordinated CAMI actions with other initiatives such as Equipex Robotex, FLI, RHU/FHU/IHU, etc. The Management Board met once a month using videoconferencing facilities.

Each year, a general meeting called “Labex Days” was organized with the participation of all actors of CAMI across the six teams. The international advisory board was also invited to participate in this meeting.
A steering committee supervised and advised CAMI actors about their actions and decisions. It included representatives of the governing institutions of each of the teams. It was assisted by an international scientific advisory board. This scientific board included highly recognized actors of the CAMI domain at the international level. Once a year, CAMI presented its achievements and prospects to the steering committee and to the international advisory board.
