CAMI’s strategy was to federate French expertise in this domain by creating a coherent task force active from basic to translational research, including education, and acting as a single French interface for stakeholders.
CAMI LABEX brought together the six French research teams that were able to invent new concepts in this domain, demonstrate their feasibility, and transform them into clinically used prototypes that were subsequently translated into widely disseminated industrial products.
