On 14 November 2024, the scientific, medical and industrial community gathered at the WTC (World Trade Center) in Grenoble to mark the end of the LabEx CAMI (Laboratory of Excellence in Computer-Assisted Medical and Surgical Interventions). This closing event highlighted the exceptional achievements of this emblematic programme, which will have marked 12 years of major advances in the medical field.
A day of scientific excellence
The Closing Event offered a retrospective of the work carried out within the LabEx CAMI, organised around three thematic axes:
- Perception, Reasoning, Action, with technological innovations that are redefining the standards of medical and surgical interventions.
- Improving surgical quality, particularly in the learning of medical and surgical procedures thanks to digital assistance solutions.
- Industrial and clinical transfers, demonstrating the tangible impact of research on everyday medical practice.
A long-term impact
We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate not only the results achieved, but also the dynamism created by the LabEx CAMI in the field of computer-assisted medical and surgical interventions.
