Defense of thesis- Design and Evaluation of robotic systems for medical image guided percutaneous needle interventions

Thesis defended by Nicolai HUNGR (TIMC, Grenoble) on January 30th 2014.

This thesis has been devoted to the design and evaluation of robotic systems for medical image guided percutaneous needle interventions.

Its presents the technical and clinical challenges that need to be resolved during the design and evaluation of such robots puncture, while keeping in mind their differenciating features when compared to other medical robots.
