Governance

The Director of CAMI (Philippe Cinquin from 2012 to the end of 2015, Jocelyne Troccaz since 2016 and Sandrine Voros since 2023) is assisted by a Management Board comprising representatives of the 6 teams and by an administrative assistant from a subsidiary company (Absiskey). The board takes all the decisions concerning the supported actions and their funding. It also discusses the general strategy of CAMI at the local, national and international levels. It also articulates CAMI actions to other initiatives such as Equipex Robotex, FLI, RHU/FHU/IHU, etc. The Management Board meets once per month using visio-conferencing facilities.

A steering committee supervises and advises CAMI actors about their actions and decisions. It includes representatives of the governing institutions of each of the teams. It is assisted by an international scientific advisory board. This scientific board includes highly recognized actors of the CAMI domain at the international level. Once a year, CAMI presents its achievements and prospective to the steering committee and to the international advisory board.

Each year, a general meeting called “Labex Days” is organized with the participation of all actors of CAMI in the six teams. The international advisory board is also invited to participate in this meeting. These days can be coupled with a conference open to non-CAMI members – Surgetica. The meetings were organized as follows:
